Loves: The '60s, the '70s, hippies, myself, staying up for obscene amounts of time, playing guitar, reading anything I get my hands on, the Paul is Dead conspiracy, nail polish in a rainbow of shades, amassing useless pieces of trivia, VH1, collecting pens, website design, YouTube videos, MAD magazine, England & the British, taking pictures, my iPod (when it's working), chocolate glazed doughnuts, writing short stories, listening to music (my headphones are permanently attached to my ears), being nostalgic, drinking tea…among other things.

Hates: Overachievers, most green vegetables, insomnia, shallow people, rap, born-again Christians, overpriced DVDs & CDs, tribute bands, political correctness run amok, paying for textbooks, unemployment, socializing, politicians, female backup singers, math & numbers, the song "Respect", hypocrites, Heather Mills (aka The Peg-Legged Whore), coffee, clutter, being broke, other people's kids, MTV, obnoxiously-long emo song titles, cream-filled doughnuts…and all of this is just the tip of the hatred iceberg.

Other Things To Know
I define myself in terms of the music I listen to. Basically, the only thing I truly give a crap about is rock music. I'm selective about what goes into my ears, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I'm an introvert by nature, and it's incredibly difficult for me to socialize with others. I also have trouble relating to others, which is probably a symptom of a personality disorder. Whatever. I get my greatest pleasure doing stuff by myself. I'm on a first-name basis with my favorite rock stars; I feel closer to the members of my favorite bands than members of my own family. Is that pathetic or what?

Web History
I’ve been doing this website thing since I was twelve-years-old. My first website was on Angelfire; I called it "BeatleGirl’s Piece of the Web". God, what a horrifically bad title. It was a cross between Beatles fansite and personal site. I recently looked the site up on the Web Archive, and it’s as bad as I remembered. After that, I was hosted at bite-the-dust.com by my awesome friend Becca, and I did all sorts of random crap with my allotted megabytes. I don’t even remember what I called the site from day to day. Then in 2003 I opened the very first Keith Moon fanlisting at way-off.net (RIP). I put my heart and soul in that site, even as it jumped from one host to another (nothing-is-real.net, RIP), to another (Geocities. YUCK.) to another (burning-sky.org, RIP) to another (gypsy-road.org, RIP). In late 2006 I decided that fanlistings were a relic of the past and shut the thing down, replacing it with my Keith Moon fansite. I was much happier doing that kind of web work, all the way up until a month ago or so, when my current host up and killed her domain. I finally invested in my own domain, figuring I was guaranteeing a permanent home for my Moonie tribute, and also giving myself the freedom to do other internet garbage. So far I’m happy with my decision.
